Review of the year 2012<br />
Summary<br />
Backlog representing more than one year of revenue:<br />
■ New order bookings amounting to EUR 461,7 million<br />
in 2012.<br />
■ Backlog as of 31/12/2012 of EUR 621,4 million,<br />
stable versus 31/12/11.<br />
■ Important number of pending offers and of “limited<br />
notices to proceed”.<br />
EBITDA of EUR 17,1 million – Result before tax<br />
of EUR +2,6 million. Net loss of EUR -1,6 million (Equity<br />
holders of the Company EUR -2,5 million):<br />
■ Sales increasing by 25% versus 2011.<br />
■ BUs EBITDA increasing by EUR +4,6 million during<br />
2nd half year versus 1st half year of 2012.<br />
■ Result before tax of EUR +2,6 million.<br />
■ Net loss due to heavy taxes because no tax consolidation<br />
on worldwide basis.<br />
Encouraging developments for the future:<br />
■ Growth of Dry Cooling activities with important<br />
commercial and R&D investments. Important backlog<br />
as of 31/12/12.<br />
■ First success of APC in Asia and in Eastern Europe<br />
which should allow <strong>Hamon</strong> to bear the redeploying<br />
costs of this activity. Good level of bookings for this<br />
BU early 2013.<br />
■ Expansion of Deltak sales activities in Asia<br />
with positioning in the global heat recovery steam<br />
generator market.<br />
■ Progress towards the acceptance of the ReACT<br />
technology on the U.S. market.<br />
Main events of the year 2012<br />
January<br />
Opening of a <strong>Hamon</strong> & Cie representative office in<br />
Hanoi, Vietnam. Booking of the first new order in this<br />
country during the 4th quarter 2012.
