Ford Racing Performance Parts has released a series of high-performance exhaust systems for Mustang applications. All components are made from 409
stainless steel and are produced by Arvin-Meritor Industries to Ford Racing specifications. 409 stainless is a blend of stainless and mild steel. This type of
stainless is used to make production catalytic converter assemblies which have a 100,000-mile durability requirement. 409 stainless has excellent forming
characteristics and is rust through resistant. 409 stainless will develop a light surface rust. These kits are attractively priced, high-quality, guaranteed to fit
and produce world-class power and low restriction.
