subject, produce necessary reports,
and audit the facilities and their operation
before market parties and/or
facilities.
MARKET SURVEILLANCE BY THE
MINISTRY OF INDUSTRY
According to the new draft, the
Ministry of Science, Industry and
Technology shall be authorized to
inspect the liquid fuel market activities.
Financial expenses related to
equipment and materials required
for inspection BY the Ministry of Science,
Industry and Technology shall
be covered by the tax to be collected
from the sector.
The Ministry shall provide allowance,
materials and equipment to the relevant
Ministries, Governorates, laboratories,
research institutions and
organizations for market surveillance
and inspection. In this regard,
the Ministry shall purchase services
from related institutions and organizations.
It shall establish accredited
static and mobile laboratories in
cooperation with Turkish Accreditation
Agency, and allocate resources
for this purpose.
BOTTLED LPG TO THE MINISTRY
OF INDUSTRY
According to the new draft, the
Ministry of Science, Industry and
Technology shall be liable for technical
regulations for storage, refilling
facilities, transportation, bottle
manufacturing, bottle examination,
reparation and maintenance related
to LPG and CNG services; procedures
and principles binding LPG and CNG
bottle dealers, bulk and bottle users;
and market surveillance and inspection
for these activities within the
framework of the legislation to be
issued by the Ministry of Science, Industry
and Technology. Permissions
related to import and export of LPG
required for bulk and bottled LPG
activities shall be jointly granted by
