<strong>Chicago</strong> GSB reserves the right to discontinue any or all online services at any time or to<br />
revise the terms and policies <strong>of</strong> this acceptable use agreement. If the policies are revised, the<br />
updated policies will be posted on the <strong>Chicago</strong> GSB Community Directory Web site.<br />
Students should review the policies periodically, particularly after any updates, to ensure that<br />
you are familiar with them.<br />
<strong>Chicago</strong> GSB is not responsible for screening communications/bulletin board postings.<br />
<strong>Chicago</strong> GSB, however, reserves the right to reorganize or delete any postings or message<br />
boards and may at its discretion reassign a topic’s ownership. <strong>Chicago</strong> GSB expects<br />
community members to exhibit the same level <strong>of</strong> respect for others in this forum as in any<br />
other <strong>Chicago</strong> GSB–related venue. If <strong>Chicago</strong> GSB determines that a user’s participation in<br />
the <strong>Chicago</strong> GSB Community Directory may create a liability for <strong>Chicago</strong> GSB or that the<br />
user has violated the policies set forth herein, <strong>Chicago</strong> GSB reserves the right, in its sole<br />
discretion, to take actions against the user including expel a user and/or deny a user further<br />
access to the <strong>Chicago</strong> GSB Community Directory.<br />
STUDENT CONTACT INFORMATION<br />
Students maintain their contact information via the Community Directory accessible via the<br />
<strong>Chicago</strong> GSB Portal at portal.<strong>Chicago</strong>GSB.edu. <strong>The</strong> following contact information is<br />
required by <strong>Chicago</strong> GSB and/or the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Chicago</strong>:<br />
• Home: the location where a student is currently living; must be in the U.S. for student<br />
visa holders<br />
• Foreign: the permanent international address for student visa holders<br />
• Emergency Contact: the name and contact information <strong>of</strong> an individual to whom<br />
university administrators could speak should the student be incapacitated<br />
<strong>The</strong> following contact information can be maintained, but is not required:<br />
• Permanent: a home residence, <strong>of</strong>ten a parent’s home address<br />
• Business: contact information at a place <strong>of</strong> employment<br />
When maintaining their contact information in the Community Directory, students must<br />
designate either the home or business address as the place for school communication to be<br />
sent.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Community Directory is an internal <strong>Chicago</strong> GSB resource. Students who do not wish<br />
for their contact information to be viewed by other <strong>Chicago</strong> GSB students may elect to have<br />
it suppressed.<br />
Privacy Display Options<br />
Students who do not wish for their contact information to be viewed by other <strong>Chicago</strong> GSB<br />
students have the option when updating their address records in the Community Directory to<br />
check boxes to suppress information. By checking any <strong>of</strong> the boxes in your Home or<br />
Business address records, your entire address record also will not be viewable to other<br />
student users <strong>of</strong> cMore, the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Chicago</strong> directory.<br />
