In the two other equally parsimonious trees, the subspecies of C. dorcas except for pelzelni<br />
are 00 a single branch together, thus dissolving the peculiar i<strong>sa</strong>bella I cora affiliation; one (Figure<br />
2.6b) retains the comb-like asymmetry of pelzelni plus the gazella group; the other (Figure 2.6c)<br />
places gazella and muscatensis in a branch of their own.<br />
