mile. The average of planned bicycle and pedestrian facilities is 2.49 miles per square mile<br />
(roughly double the miles of existing facilities). For existing bicycle facilities, cities were asked<br />
to report on miles of multi-use paths, on-street striped bike lanes, and signed bike routes. Miami<br />
reported more miles of combined cycling facilities than any other city with 3.95 miles of facilities<br />
per square mile. Las Vegas ranked highest <strong>for</strong> planned facilities with 16.2 miles of bicycle and<br />
pedestrian facilities planned per square mile.<br />
