A REVIEW OF AVERAGE SUMMER AND WINTER TEMPERATURES and cycling
levels in 50 states indicates no obvious correlation between the two. This finding
is in line with other studies (Pucher, Buehler 2006) that point out much higher
rates of cycling in countries such as Canada, that average lower year-round temperatures
than in the U.S.
