A REVIEW OF AVERAGE SUMMER AND WINTER TEMPERATURES and cycling<br />

levels in 50 states indicates no obvious correlation between the two. This finding<br />

is in line with other studies (Pucher, Buehler 2006) that point out much higher<br />

rates of cycling in countries such as Canada, that average lower year-round temperatures<br />

than in the U.S.<br />
