Programs also strive to promote economic development for <strong>the</strong> individuals and businesses <strong>the</strong>y serve, as<br />

well as <strong>the</strong> overall community. Considering community factors when developing or expanding a training<br />

program is essential to its success.<br />

With <strong>the</strong> many influential factors on workforce development program success, improving measures<br />

around <strong>the</strong>se factors and developing an integr<strong>at</strong>ed d<strong>at</strong>a system for <strong>the</strong>ir measurement will streng<strong>the</strong>n <strong>the</strong><br />

entire workforce development system. By collecting more comprehensive yet meaningful d<strong>at</strong>a in an<br />

integr<strong>at</strong>ed d<strong>at</strong>a management inform<strong>at</strong>ion system, programs will have <strong>the</strong> inform<strong>at</strong>ion needed to assess<br />

<strong>the</strong>ir efforts and make improvements to achieve <strong>the</strong>ir goals. Ultim<strong>at</strong>ely better measures will help lead to<br />
