The Electrical consultant Engineer / Electrical Wiring Contractor shall ensure the above requirements<br />

are complied wih. Should there be any deviation(s) from the requirements, he should consult the TNB<br />

Distribution Division Local Office.<br />

6.0 MEDIUM AND HIGH VOLTAGE METERING<br />

6.1 General<br />

Currrent transformers (CTs) and potential transformers (PTs) for all metering shall be provided by the consumer. A<br />

consumer shall be required to install suitable metering CTs and PTs at his incoming switchgear at his own expense<br />

following TNB’s specifications and subjected to test by TNB.<br />

A floor mounted metering cubicle as per Appendix 19, Drawing No. 7A-7L shall be provided by the consumer in the<br />

specified metering room for the installation of TNB’s meter.<br />

The schematic drawings together with the load data using the form as in Appendix 20 are required to be forwarded to<br />

the TNB Metering Services HQ/Regional for his advice on the metering requirements. All drawings must be signed by<br />

a Professional Engineer.<br />
