6.4 Metering Cubicle<br />

The consumer shall provide an appropriate metering cubicle to specifications stated in Appendix 19. The maximum<br />

distance allowable between the metering CTs and the metering cubicle is shown in Table 3. The consumer shall send the<br />

cubicle to TNB Metering Services HQ/Regional office for wiring up.<br />

6.5 Location of Metering Cubicle<br />

An enclosed locked room specifically for the purpose of installing the floor mounted metering cubicle shall be provided.<br />

The minimum area shall be 1.5 m by 1.7 m.<br />

6.6 Power Supply Point for Remote Meter Reading<br />

A 13 Amps Switch Socket Outlet (S.S.O) is to be provided and shall be installed at the top of metering cubicle.<br />

6.7 Cable Requirement<br />

6.7.1 Indoor Breakers<br />

The consumer shall provide and connect a 12-core PVC/SWA/PVC of 2.5mm 2 or higher between the consumer high<br />

voltage switchboard and the metering cubicle. There shall be no intermediary joint.<br />

The armoured cable shall not be buried or enclosed. Preferably it shall be laid on cable tray.<br />
