Gmina Oleśnica – położona jest na północno-wschodnich
krańcach województwa
dolnośląskiego, na Równinie Oleśnickiej.
Jest największą spośród ośmiu gmin powiatu
oleśnickiego. Obejmuje swoim zasięgiem
część ziem i miejscowości dawnego księstwa
oleśnickiego. Powierzchnia gminy wynosi
24344 ha, w tym użytki rolne zajmują 16547
ha, lasy i grunty leśne 5441 ha. Na terenie
gminy znajduje się 28 wsi, w których mieszka
około 12180 mieszkańców.
Gmina Oleśnica to atrakcyjne tereny dla
wszystkich, którzy chcą spędzić wolny czas
z korzyścią dla zdrowia, zrelaksować się,
a przy tym poznać znajdujące się na jej terenie
zabytki śląskiej architektury i sztuki. Pobyt
na terenie gminy urozmaicą zasobne lasy
oczekujące grzybiarzy i miłośników przyrody.
Lasy i nadrzeczne tereny zielone zasiedlone
są przez pospolite gatunki zwierząt, takie jak:
dzik, jeleń, sarna, zając. Spotkać też można
bociana czarnego, bociana białego, żurawia,
łabędzia i żmiję zygzakowatą.
Oleśnica Municipality – municipality located
within the northeastern peripheries of the
Lower Silesia Province, on Oleśnica Plain. It is the
biggest municipality among all the municipalities
within the Oleśnica District. It covers certain lands
and localities of the former Oleśnica Principality.
The area of the municipality amounts to 24 344 ha,
including 16 547 ha of arable lands, and 5 441 ha
of woods and forestlands. There are 28 villages in
the municipality, with about 12 180 inhabitants.
Oleśnica Municipality has grounds which are
attractive for all those who wish to spend their
free time with benefit for their health, to relax,
and at the same time learn more about monuments
of Silesian architecture and art located
within the premises of the municipality. Abundant
forests awaiting mushroom pickers and
nature lovers diversify the visit within the area
of the municipality. Forests and riverside green
areas are colonized by common animal species,
such as: wild boar, deer, roe and hare. It is also
possible to see black stork, white stork, crane,
swan as well as common European viper.
