z wyspą, o brzegach porośniętych tatarakiem,
trzciną i sitowiem. Staw stanowi miejsce gniazdowania
łabędzi.

village there is an embanked pond (about 3 ha)
with an island with sides covered with sweet
flags, cane and bulrush. This pond is a nesting
area for swans.
Spalice
Spalice – wieś (ok. 580 mieszk.), położona
ok. 150 m n.p.m., bezpośrednio przy granicy administracyjnej
Oleśnicy. Część wsi Spalice w latach
siedemdziesiątych XX w. włączono w obręb miasta
Oleśnica i po wyburzeniu zabudowy wiejskiej
wzniesiono osiedle bloków mieszkalnych. Dzisiejsze
Spalice to część dawnej wsi, usytuowane są
między drogą nr 8, a lokalną drogą prowadzącą
do Boguszyc. Wieś wymieniana była w źródłach
po raz pierwszy w 1288 r. Stara zabudowa wsi
pochodzi z przeł. XIX/XX w. Po 1945 r. uległa ona
znacznym przekształceniom i modernizacji.
Spalice – village (c. 580 inhabitants)
located at about 150m AMSL, directly by the
administrative border of Oleśnica. During the
70s of the 20 th century a certain part of Spalice
village was incorporated into Oleśnica city
and after pulling down the village development
a residential estate was erected. Modern
Spalice constitute a part of the former village,
and the village is situated between route No. 8
and the local road leading to Boguszyce. The
village was mentioned in historic sources for
the first time in the year 1288. The old village
development dates back to the turn of the
19 th and the 20 th century. After the year 1945
it underwent considerable transformation and
modernisation.
