12–14 October <strong>2010</strong> Dubai, UAE • UAE visit was on an invitation by the Royal<br />
Group to Show case the sporting and tourism<br />
attractions. The visit was more a an exploratory<br />
exercise since the group is planning to invest<br />
in South Africa and wanted to give the<br />
delegation a sense <strong>of</strong> what the plan entails<br />
firsthand<br />

23–25 November <strong>2010</strong> Nairobi, Kenya • State visit by Deputy President Kgalema<br />
Motlanthe. DM met with her Kenyan<br />
counterpart to discuss the implementation <strong>of</strong><br />
the Executive Programme which is aimed at<br />
activating the Agreement on Cooperation in<br />
the Field <strong>of</strong> <strong>Tourism</strong> that was signed by the two<br />
countries on 26 August 1997<br />
