The course is designed for professionals who require the skills and knowledge to integrate planning, impact assessment, and environmental and health risk assessment into the broader decision-making of their organisations. The course covers the areas of environmental impact assessment, and planning set in the context of our major ecosystems, and emphasises the global, regional and local nature of environmental issues. Note: the Graduate Certificate is an exit point for the Graduate Diploma of Natural Resources Management. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS Normal admission requirement is a Bachelor degree or equivalent piror learning including at least five years appropriate professional experience. The course provides a continuing education pathway for those employed in a variety of private and public sector organisations that require a broad and practical knowledge of the current approaches and techniques that are essential for environmental problem solving. The course covers the areas of environmental impact assessment, planning and monitoring set in the context of our major ecosystems, and emphasises the global, regional and local nature of environmental issues. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS Normal admission requirement is a degree in an area other than environmental science or environmental management. Students must have access to a computer capable of accessing the Internet, and CDROM technology. COURSE LOCATION This course is available on Joondalup Campus.
