Extra Dimension: cultural intensiveness research.
This dimension has been suggested (in Advisory Board) as an additional one to address research
outcomes related to the arts and humanities sectors. It is assumed to cover the socio-cultural
exploitation of research. So far no indicators have been specifi ed.
This dimension as such is not relevant for NTNU. However, NTNU would like to have design related
and artistic research outcomes integrated in the Crown indicator (2.2.1.).

• important to distinguish ‘degree seeking students’ (per level, particularly masters and PhD) and
‘exchange students’;
• important to distinguish ‘incoming’ and ‘outgoing’ exchange students; for ‘degree seeking
students’ only focus on ‘incoming’;
• data can be easily provided.
