Annual Research Report 2011-2012
performed and methods of generalizing the results to other power projects were
investigated.
Project Results:
• Provide diagrams of water usage and wastewater production for steam and
combined cycle power plants in Iran.
• Determination of proper water consumption standards considering type and
characteristics of main equipments of thermal power plants.
• Proposing water consumption reduction plans for the selected power plants
• Proposing plans for wastewater recovery and reuse in the selected power
plants
• Cost-Benefit Analysis of water usage reduction and wastewater recovery
methods in selected plants
