Chapter 1 Overview 1.1 Product introduction DevKit8500D/A is based on TI DM3730/AM3715 processor. The processor integrates ARM Cortex-A8 kernel at 1GHz and DSP core (DM3730 only) running at 800MHz with high-level digital signal processing functions, and provides rich peripheral interfaces. DevKit8500D/A expands LAN port, S-VIDEO interface, audio input/output interface, USB, TF interface, serial port, SPI interface, IIC interface, JTAG interface, CAMERA interface, TFT interface, touch screen interface, keyboard interface and HDMI interface.
