Knowing issue: CAM8000-A cannot work well on DVI display mode. This<br />

problem would be solved in next release edition, so it is recommend that<br />

use the 4.3/7 inch LCD when use cam8000-a module currently.<br />

4.6.4 How to use CAM8000-D module<br />

1) Modify the lines below in DevKit8500.bat<br />

set BSP_NOCAMERA=<br />

set BSP_NOCAMERA_MDC=1<br />

set BSP_NODIGITALCAMERA=<br />

2) Add the line below in the file locate in C:\wince600\plat<strong>for</strong>m\DevKit8500\src\driver\dirs<br />

camera<br />

3) Rebuild solution in vs 2005 to create nk.bin<br />

4) Connect camera8000-D module to <strong>DevKit8500D</strong>/A and boot with updated nk.bin.<br />

5) Copy C:\wince600\plat<strong>for</strong>m\DevKit8500\files\CameraDshowApp_digital.exe to target system<br />

and then launch.<br />

4.7 The development of application<br />

This chapter introduces how to develop Windows Embedded CE 6.0 application program in<br />

<strong>DevKit8500D</strong>/A.<br />

Be<strong>for</strong>e development, it is necessary to install Windows Mobile 6 Professional SDK. Please refer to<br />

Appendix VI <strong>for</strong> download path.<br />

It is necessary to establish Windows Embedded CE 6.0 development<br />

plat<strong>for</strong>m in order to develop Windows Embedded CE 6.0 operating system.<br />

The development case in this <strong>Manual</strong> is based on development of<br />

Windows Mobile 6 Professional SDK.<br />

4.7.1 Application program interfaces and examples<br />

API used <strong>for</strong> development of <strong>DevKit8500D</strong>/A application programs employs Microsoft Windows<br />
