1. 'It is only <strong>the</strong> coherence <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Qur'an, which if considered leads to a<br />
definite <strong>and</strong> integrated underst<strong>and</strong>ing <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Divine Message.'<br />
This shows that Farahi's research on <strong>the</strong> 'coherence <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
Qur'an' is <strong>the</strong> Islahi group's substitute for <strong>the</strong> <strong>Hadeeth</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
Sunnah.<br />
2. They expect all <strong>the</strong> sects to accept Farahi's principles in interpreting<br />
<strong>the</strong> Qur'aan to bring about unity in <strong>the</strong> Ummah <strong>and</strong> it is only<br />
<strong>the</strong>n that <strong>the</strong> Qur'aan will be "truly regarded as a Mizan (Balance<br />
<strong>of</strong> Justice) <strong>and</strong> a Furqan (Distinguisher <strong>of</strong> Good <strong>and</strong> Evil)."<br />
3. They claim that without Farahi's holistic approach 'a lot <strong>of</strong> its<br />
treasure <strong>of</strong> wisdom remains hidden' this after <strong>the</strong>y have<br />
discredited <strong>the</strong> hadeeth as an interpreter <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Qur'aan.<br />
4. 'His (Farahi's) findings were as original as his approach' this is not a<br />
praiseworthy attribute but a serious imperfection <strong>and</strong> a<br />
perversion from <strong>the</strong> true manner in which <strong>the</strong> Qur'aan ought to<br />
be understood. 'Original' is but a euphemism to hide <strong>the</strong> ugly<br />
reality that such a manner <strong>of</strong> Tafseer does not have precedence<br />
from <strong>the</strong> earlier generations <strong>of</strong> Muslims <strong>and</strong> is a product <strong>of</strong><br />
intellectual effort taken by a person from<br />
contemporary times.<br />
