<strong>The</strong> <strong>Corporate</strong> <strong>Ninja</strong> - Revealed!<br />

Research has shown that our greatest perceived<br />
voids determine our greatest values in life.<br />
Whatever we think is missing in our lives<br />
becomes a priority. In the 1960’s, a survey of<br />
America’s self-made millionaires showed that<br />
92% came from impoverished families that<br />
lived in towns of fewer than 10,000 people.<br />
What were their voids? Money and influence.<br />
<strong>The</strong>ir priorities? Money and Influence.<br />
What do voids and values have to do with my<br />
being a professional speaker? When I started<br />
school in the late 1950’s in Australia, the<br />
country was in the midst of <strong>The</strong> White Australia<br />
Policy. This policy granted immigration<br />
officers a wide degree of discretion to prevent<br />
individuals from entering Australia. <strong>The</strong> Prime<br />
Minister, Edmund Barton, said, “<strong>The</strong> doctrine<br />
of the equality of man was never intended to<br />
apply to the equality of the Englishman and the<br />
Chinaman.” Thus Australian cultural attitudes<br />
were established, and although the Act was<br />
officially abandoned in 1973, prejudice still<br />
exists amongst many members of society.<br />
Being of Chinese ancestry, I was victimized,<br />
abused, and beaten up. I lost count of the<br />
