communication skills. By becoming more aware
of what you are saying and how you are saying
it and by being willing to put forth the effort
necessary to improve your communication
techniques, you can avoid misunderstandings,
share greater compassion, and become more
skilled at communicating important thoughts
and messages.
A Simple Formula to Help
I am so passionate about this mission that I
developed and trademarked a presentation
process. I call it the I-A-P Formula. IAP
stands for Intent-Audience Analysis-Powerful
Performance. Using this formula, I teach
people how to simplify their communication
preparation and delivery process. When
you keep the preparation simple, powerful
performance will come easily. The ability to
communicate effectively and present your
authentic self will help you feel greater selfconfidence
as you engage your passion.
Fun, then, becomes a natural byproduct, if
not a direct goal you set for yourself or your
audience. I know I could not stay focused or
energized on my mission without having fun
EVERY DAY! Take time for family dinners, golf
with friends, or lunch with a favorite client.
