Materials Approved <strong>for</strong> <strong>Organic</strong> Production:<br />

Coniothyrium minitans (Contans) is a beneficial fungus that can be applied to the soil to reduce<br />

survival of sclerotia. It should be applied after a crop is infected with white mold or be<strong>for</strong>e a<br />

susceptible crop is planted in an infested field.<br />
