Thesefunctions help you improve employee productivity and continually strengthenrelationships with your customers and trading partners.When considering the possibility to enable your portlets with Sametime featuresand functionality, there is a significant difference between these two versions of<strong>Web</strong>Sphere Portal.<strong>Web</strong>Sphere Portal Extend includes the <strong>Lotus</strong> Collaborative Components. Theyare UI-neutral API methods and tag libraries that allow developers who arewriting portlets for <strong>Web</strong>Sphere Portal to add <strong>Lotus</strong> Software collaborativefunctionality to their portlets. Application developers using CollaborativeComponents can design and implement UI extensions that leverage the featuresof Domino, QuickPlace, Sametime, and <strong>Lotus</strong> Discovery Server.<strong>Web</strong>Sphere Portal Enable does not include all those components.
