Most of the technical approaches to customizing and enhancingSametime functionality described previously in the redbook are brought togetherin a business context. Ultimately, we hope this will help you better appreciatehow your organization may benefit by more effectively leveraging Sametime.We start by giving an overview of a typical company who wants to build newcollaborative capabilities for both its internal employees and its external customerrelations process. We describe the business drivers and discuss where and howSametime can help improve efficiency.While this overall scenario is a fictitious one, the examples are closely modeledafter real examples and experiences from the field. The goal is to provide arealistic but intentionally general scenario that may be applied to a broad rangeof businesses.
