The boot also prevents contaminant buildup on the thrust tube.Clean Room & Vacuum Applications: Kollmorgen has designed special positioners for clean room andvacuum applications. Please consult the factory if your application requires special environmentalcompatibility.The EC Series Linear Positioner design eliminates the need for most routine maintenance. Re-lubrication isrequired in high cycle applications.
