Combined preparations, which contain neomycin <strong>and</strong> other antibiotics,<br />

are classified in D06AX04 - neomycin.<br />

Combined preparations, which contain neomycin <strong>and</strong> bacitracin, are<br />

classified in D06AX04 – neomycin.<br />

Combined preparations, containing bacitracin <strong>and</strong> other antibiotics, are<br />

classified in D06AX05 – bacitracin.<br />

D06B CHEMOTHERAPEUTICS FOR TOPICAL USE<br />

This group includes chemotherapeutics <strong>for</strong> dermatological use, except:<br />

Combinations with antibiotics - D06C<br />

Combinations with corticosteroids - D07C<br />

D06BA Sulfonamides<br />

D06BB Antivirals<br />

Podophyllin preparations are classified at the 5th level <strong>for</strong><br />

podophyllotoxin.<br />

D06BX Other chemotherapeutics<br />

This group comprises chemotherapeutics used in different skin<br />

disorders, which cannot be classified in the preceding groups, e.g.<br />

metronidazole <strong>for</strong> the treatment of rosacea.<br />

D06C ANTIBIOTICS AND CHEMOTHERAPEUTICS, COMBINATIONS<br />

D07 CORTICOSTEROIDS, DERMATOLOGICAL PREPARATIONS<br />

As a main rule, all topical corticosteroid preparations should be<br />

classified in this group. There are, however, some few exceptions:
