The <strong>DDD</strong> of nafarelin is based on the treatment of endometriosis.<br />

No other <strong>DDD</strong>s have been assigned, due to the highly variable<br />

dosages used.<br />

H01CB Antigrowth hormones<br />

Somatostatin, octreotide <strong>and</strong> lanreotide, which are also used in cancer,<br />

are classified in this group.<br />

The <strong>DDD</strong>s of octreotide <strong>and</strong> lanreotide are based on the treatment<br />

of acromegaly.<br />

H01CC Anti-gonadotropin-releasing hormones<br />

H02 CORTICOSTEROIDS FOR SYSTEMIC USE<br />

As a main rule, systemic corticosteroids should be classified in this<br />

group. There is, however, one exception: M01BA - Antiinflammatory/antirheumatic<br />

agents in combination with corticosteroids.<br />
