This group comprises agents, which inhibit fibrinolytic activity.<br />

Combinations with vitamin K, see B02B - Vitamin K <strong>and</strong> other<br />

hemostatics.<br />

The <strong>DDD</strong>s are based on treatment of hemorrhage associated with<br />

fibrinolysis.<br />

Combinations with aprotinin used as local hemostatics are classified in<br />

B02BC30.<br />

B02B VITAMIN K AND OTHER HEMOSTATICS<br />

B02BA Vitamin K<br />

B02BB Fibrinogen<br />

The <strong>DDD</strong>s are based on treatment of hemorrhage associated with<br />

different deficiency states (e.g. vitamin K deficiency, deficiency of<br />

different blood coagulation factors etc.).<br />

Preparations containing human fibrinogen <strong>for</strong> systemic use are<br />

classified here. B02BB01 is reserved <strong>for</strong> systemic <strong>for</strong>mulations only.<br />

B02BC Local hemostatics<br />

This group comprises gauze, tampons etc. impregnated with hemostatic<br />

agents. Local hemostatics used in dentistry, see A01AD - Other agents<br />

<strong>for</strong> local oral treatment. Epinephrine injection, see C01C - Cardiac<br />

stimulants excl. cardiac glycosides. Tissue adhesives, e.g. cyanoacrylate<br />

based adhesives, are classified in V03AK. Combination with aprotinin<br />

is allowed in B02BC30.
