S02A ANTIINFECTIVES<br />

This group comprises plain <strong>and</strong> combined antiinfective preparations <strong>for</strong><br />

otological use.<br />

Combined preparations are classified at a separate 5th level - S02AA30 -<br />

antiinfectives, combinations. This level includes combinations of<br />

different antiinfectives <strong>and</strong> combinations of antiinfectives/other<br />

substances.<br />

Combinations with corticosteroids are classified in S02C -<br />

Corticosteroids <strong>and</strong> antiinfectives in combination.<br />

S02AA Antiinfectives<br />

Ciprofloxacin, declared as ear drops, is classified here.<br />

S02B CORTICOSTEROIDS<br />

This group comprises all otological preparations with corticosteroids,<br />

plain <strong>and</strong> combinations, except combinations with antiinfectives. These<br />

are classified in S02C - Corticosteroids <strong>and</strong> antiinfectives in<br />

combination.<br />

S02BA Corticosteroids<br />

S02C CORTICOSTEROIDS AND ANTIINFECTIVES IN COMBINATION<br />

This group comprises all otological preparations, which contain<br />

corticosteroids <strong>and</strong> antiinfectives. Preparations may also contain<br />

additional drugs.<br />

The preparations are classified at separate 5th levels according to the<br />

corticosteroid.<br />
