This group comprises cold preparations with various ingredients, which<br />

cannot be classified in the preceding groups. Combinations with<br />

therapeutic amounts of various ingredients (e.g. quinine as an<br />

antipyretic, antihistamines, ascorbic acid <strong>and</strong> caffeine) are classified in<br />

this group. Various remedies <strong>for</strong> symptomatic relief in cough <strong>and</strong> cold,<br />

e.g. inhalants with menthol, camphora, thymol etc. are also classified<br />

here.<br />

R06A ANTIHISTAMINES FOR SYSTEMIC USE<br />

This group comprises plain <strong>and</strong> combined antihistamine preparations <strong>for</strong><br />

systemic use. Antihistamines used in motion sickness are classified in<br />

this group. Other preparations used in motion sickness, see A04 -<br />

Antiemetics <strong>and</strong> antinauseants.<br />

Combined preparations (incl. combinations with hydroxyzine) are<br />

classified at separate 5th levels using the corresponding 50-series.<br />

Combinations of antihistamines are classified at a separate 4th level,<br />

R06AK.<br />
