This might lead to coolingsystem and engine damage and couldresult in serious injury fr<strong>om</strong> escapinghot coolant or steam. Turn off theengine and wait until it's cool. Eventhen, be very careful when removingthe cap.Wrap a thick cloth around the cap andslowly turn it counterclockwise abouttwo and a half rotations.Step back while the pressure escapes.When you're sure all the pressure hasescaped, turn the capcounterclockwise ― still using a cloth― and remove the cap.Brake/Clutch FluidqInspecting Brake/Clutch Fluid LevelThe brakes and clutch draw fluid fr<strong>om</strong> thesame reservoir.Inspect the fluid level in the reservoirregularly. It should be kept at MAX.The level normally drops withaccumulated distance, a conditionassociated with wear of brake and clutchlinings. If it is excessively low, have thebrake/clutch system inspected by anAuthorized <strong>Mazda</strong> Dealer.8-23
