In <strong>2010</strong> there were 120 specialist doctors on duty in health center, most ofthese specialists were in DKI Jakarta with 33 specialist doctors (27.5%). Number ofnurses in all health centers as many as 78,215 nurses, so that on average each unithad 8‐9 nurses. Amount of each type of health personnel in health centers can be seenin Graph 5.22 below. In <strong>2010</strong>, there were 142,521 people working ingovernment hospitals with details of 111,998 health personnels and 30,523 nonhealth personnels. Of the total number of health personnels, specialist doctors whoserved in government hospitals as many as 7,593 specialists, with an average of 16specialists per hospital; physicians who served in government hospitals as many as6,685 physicians, with an average of 14 physicians per hospital and dentists whoserved in government hospitals as many as 1,741 dentists, with an average of 4dentists per hospital. Midwives who served in government hospitals as many as10,510 midwives, with an average of 22 midwives per hospital and nurses whoserved in government hospitals as many as 66,701 nurses, with an average of 128nurses per hospital. Details of number of health personnels in government hospitalscan be seen in Annex 5.25.2. <strong>Health</strong> Personnels with Non Permanent Employee Status (Ind: PTT)<strong>Health</strong> personnel with PTT status (Ind=PTT=Pegawai Tidak Tetap) consist ofspecialist doctors, physicians, dentists and midwives. Up to year <strong>2010</strong> there were31,840 health personnels with PTT status still on active duty in local government152
