However, in2004 it returned and attacked residents in ASEAN region. There was 1 case found inLaos. In 2005 the number of polio cases reached its peak. About 350 cases werereported from 2 countries in ASEAN, Cambodia and <strong>Indonesia</strong>, and 349 occurred in<strong>Indonesia</strong>. Transmission of polio could be controlled in 2006. Only 4 patients werefound in this region, 2 patients originated from <strong>Indonesia</strong> and one patient each fromCambodia and Myanmar. In 2007, among ASEAN member states, polio cases was onlyfound in Myanmar and kept increasing from 1 to 15 cases, compared to previous year.175
