Bu çalışmada kliniğimizin pektusekskavatum tedavisinde minimal invaziv onarım deneyimideğerlendirilmektedir.Hastalar ve Yöntemler: Ağustos 2005 - Kasım 2010tarihleri arasında minimal invaziv onarım tekniğiuygulanan 168 pektus ekskavatum olgusu retrospektifolarak incelendi. Olgular; genel demografik veriler,ameliyat endikasyonu, deformite şekli, ek anomali, aileöyküsü, önceki cerrahi düzeltmeler, bar sayısı, ameliyatsüresi, ek girişim, analjezi yöntemi, perioperatuar vepostoperatuar komplikasyonlar, bar çekilmesi ve hastamemnuniyeti yönünden değerlendirildi.Bulgular: Olguların 141’i erkek, 27’si kadın, ortanca yaş16 idi. 110 olguda deformite simetrik, 58’inde asimetrikti.En sık rastlanan ek anomali 27 olguda görülen skolyozdu.26 olguda ailede deformite öyküsü mevcuttu. 14 olguyadaha önce açık cerrahi uygulanmıştı. Olguların 105’inde1, 58’inde 2, 5’inde 3 bar ile düzelme sağlanabildi.Ortanca operasyon süresi 60 dakika idi. En sıkperioperatif komplikasyon 12 olguda gelişenpnömotorakstı. Geç dönemde en sık komplikasyon 8olguda gelişen yara enfeksiyonuydu. 7 olguda planlanansürenin sonuna barlar çekildi, 1 olgu dışında nüksgörülmedi. Yaşam kalitesi anketlerinde olguların%94’ünün tedaviden memnun olduğu görüldü.Sonuç: Minimal invaziv onarım, başarılı kozmetiksonuçları ve yüksek hasta memnuniyeti ile pektusekskavatumda yüz güldürücü bir tedavi yöntemidir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Göğüs duvarı deformitesi, Pektusekskavatum, Minimal invaziv cerrahi, Nussprosedürü, MIRPEABSTRACTObjective: Minimally invasive repair of pectusexcavatum (MIRPE) have gained support recently as itcan be applied in both children and adults successfully.Our objective was to review minimally invasive repair ofpectus excavatum in <strong>Marmara</strong> University School ofMedicine.Patients and Methods: One hundred and sixty eightcases who had minimally invasive repair betweenAugust-2005 and November-2010 were reviewedretrospectively. Cases were evaluated according todemographics, surgical indication, form of deformity,concommitant anomalies, family history, previouscorrections, number of bars, duration of the operation,concommitant procedures, pain management, peri-andpostoperativecomplications, bar removal, and patientsatisfaction.Results: One hundred and forty one cases were male,27 were female. Median age was 16. The deformity wassymmetric in 110, asymmetric in 58 cases. The mostcommon concommitant anomaly was scoliosis in 27cases. 26 cases had a family history for deformity. 14cases had a previous open repair. 1 bar in 105, 2 in 58,3 in 5 cases were placed for correction. The medianduration of the operation was 60 minutes. The mostcommon perioperative complication was pneumothoraxin 12 cases. The most common postoperativecomplication was wound infection in 8 cases. Barremoval was performed in 7 cases with only onerecurrence.
