If we are studentsof psychology or metaphysics and are well versed in 'thelaws of mind, and lack love and compassion for our fellowmen, we are outside the Kingdom of God. It is whatwe are that opens the door of our soul to God and makesus His channel of blessing to help others.Some people hope for a heaven in far distant skies,but heaven is a state of consciousness in this life. If weaspire to live and love divinely, we are already citizens ofthe heaven to come in the hereafter. For the Kingdomof God is a state of consciousness wherein we worshipGod with all our heart, and with all our mind and withall our strength and love our neighbor as ourselves. Religionis, therefore, a matter between soul and God, andall other forms of worship and religious observations arein vain unless we enthrone Divine love in our hearts.
