Meeting a competent Master is thefulfillment of human birth: this is the fruit of life.To live by his commandments ensures its propernurture. Daily Simran and Bhajan to the maximumpossible are its best food and nourishment and mergencewith Shabd is its ripening and falling off.(3rd March, 1899)Such was the progress of the soul. Its ripening was a matterof steady growth. Supported by the words of theMaster, nourished by Bhajan, and borne on the ShabdDhun, it transcended realm after realm until it left allcoverings of mind and matter behind and reached SachKhand. This was its True Abode, the realm of purespirit. From there merging into the Divine it recededprogressively into the Formless, until, passing throughthe Alakh and Agam, it reached the Anami, the Namelessand Formless source of all that moves and has itsbeing.'07
