Meeting a competent M<strong>as</strong>ter is thefulfillment of human birth: this is the fruit of life.To live by his commandments ensures its propernurture. Daily Simran and Bhajan to the maximumpossible are its best food and nourishment and mergencewith Shabd is its ripening and falling off.(3rd March, 1899)Such w<strong>as</strong> the progress of the soul. From there merging into the Divine it recededprogressively into the Formless, until, p<strong>as</strong>sing throughthe Alakh and Agam, it reached the Anami, the Namelessand Formless source of all that moves and h<strong>as</strong> itsbeing.'07
