Exactlysimilar is the c<strong>as</strong>e with the human mind.The Living M<strong>as</strong>ter holds the key into the Beyond; andwhen he provides the child disciple with inner links ofdivinity which carry him into higher regions, the lattergets a feeling of satisfaction. You know that the innerbliss is supreme and unrivaled. There is nothing similar toit on earth, but al<strong>as</strong>! the mind is so much intoxicatedwith the lust for woman, wine, and wealth that it failsto see and comprehend the greatness of the spiritual beatitudewithin. But patient and persistent efforts to keepthe mind still will gradually unlock the tre<strong>as</strong>ures of divinitywithin' you with the Grace of the M<strong>as</strong>ter. Always bebuoyant and fresh when you sit for meditation and waitpatiently, like a loving baby looking up into the eyes ofthe nursing mother.220Mind is enamoured of ple<strong>as</strong>ures and runs after themwhenever and wherever they can be found. It is stilledin the physical presence of the M<strong>as</strong>ter.
