Using the Graphical Simulator10.11.3.2. LatchingThe Latch check box is displayed for input messages that are unlatched, i.e. messageswhose contents are cleared at the beginning of a cycle. For such messages, when newmessage data is input it is cleared after one cycle and the parameters in the grid revertsto False values. To prevent this from happening, check the Latch check box. Internalmessage data is still cleared, but the parameters listed in the dialog remain at their lastenteredvalues.10.11.4. Simulating Hardware I/O10.11.4.1. InputsTo view and edit the input ports on a hardware board, select an input board in thehardware and go to Edit Inputs in its popup menu. The Inputs Edit dialog is displayedfor that board.
