5.2 Weighing procedureThe G 4-2 is delivered ready to fly with all installati<strong>on</strong>s <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> additi<strong>on</strong>alequipment <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> accessories. The empty weight <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> the CG areindicated in this manual (see secti<strong>on</strong> 5.3).To determine the weight of the gyrocopter, it is placed <strong>on</strong> 3 certifiedscales, <strong>on</strong>e scale under each wheel. The indicated weights are thenadded together.The mass moments in X directi<strong>on</strong>s must be calculated <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> then dividedby the total weight to determine the center of gravity. The table insecti<strong>on</strong> 5.5 is necessary to determine the center of gravity. It c<strong>on</strong>tainsthe weights <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> the CG of the gyrocopter as well as the CG ofoccupants, luggage, fuel <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> all equipment in the instrument panel.The determinati<strong>on</strong> of the CG is important <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> must be d<strong>on</strong>e by thepilot in comm<str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> prior to every flight.The permissible CG limits must c<strong>on</strong>sider.The maximum take-off weight must be observed.The gyrocopter’s operator is resp<strong>on</strong>sible to keep the correct <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g>current data in the operating manual.Achtung: The c<strong>on</strong>necting plates between the mast <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> the rotorhead are used in 2 different shapes marked A or B.
