5.2 Weighing procedureThe G 4-2 is delivered ready to fly with all installations <strong>and</strong> additionalequipment <strong>and</strong> accessories. The empty weight <strong>and</strong> the CG areindicated in this manual (see section 5.3).To determine the weight of the gyrocopter, it is placed on 3 certifiedscales, one scale under each wheel. The indicated weights are thenadded together.The mass moments in X directions must be calculated <strong>and</strong> then dividedby the total weight to determine the center of gravity. The table insection 5.5 is necessary to determine the center of gravity. It containsthe weights <strong>and</strong> the CG of the gyrocopter as well as the CG ofoccupants, luggage, fuel <strong>and</strong> all equipment in the instrument panel.The determination of the CG is important <strong>and</strong> must be done by thepilot in comm<strong>and</strong> prior to every flight.The permissible CG limits must consider.The maximum take-off weight must be observed.The gyrocopter’s operator is responsible to keep the correct <strong>and</strong>current data in the operating manual.Achtung: The connecting plates between the mast <strong>and</strong> the rotorhead are used in 2 different shapes marked A or B.
