9.4 Oil systemChecking the oil is very important:1. Both igniti<strong>on</strong> circuits turned off2. Remove the cap of the oil c<strong>on</strong>tainer3. Turn the engine at the propeller in rotati<strong>on</strong> tirecti<strong>on</strong> aproximately8-10 revoluti<strong>on</strong>s (until flushing sound can be heard)4. The oil level is measured while the gyrocopter is level <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g>should not be lower than the middle of the flat area of the dipstick.It should not be higher than the top of the flat area.1 Pressure regulator 2 Oil pressure sensor3 Oil pump 4 Oil c<strong>on</strong>tainer5 Oil radiator 6 Oil filter7 Vent hose 8 Oil temperature sensorWarning: both igniti<strong>on</strong> circuits must be turned off before the engineis turned by h<str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> to check the oil level.
