Chapter 3 The Admin Program3.3.13 Backup System SettingsThis function is used to save Admin program settings, including alarm action settings.You will be asked to confirm the operationwith this dialog.Click [Yes] and a [Save As] dialog will appear.Browse to the desired folder and input a file name to save the system settings in .dat file format.This can later be used to restore system settings using the [RestoreDB] function.- 20 -
Chapter 3 The Admin Program3.3.14 Restore System SettingsRestores back-up system settings to the current SmartView Plus system. You can also restoresystem settings using saved database files from other servers. This can save time by eliminatingthe need to reconfigure each server individually.Click the [Restore DB] button, and you will be asked to confirm the action with this dialog.Click [Yes] and the [Open File] dialog will appear.Browse and find a saved database file and press open to perform the restoration.Note: Please restart the Control program in order to make sure that the system settingrestoration is successful. Refer to Chapter 2 on how to stop and restart the Control program.- 21 -
