Doomed so badly, that just listening to his tale gives goose bumps. Listen to histale and seek the refuge of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ‏ from the temptations of the Nafs.6. Man hung upside down at the pond‘Abdullāĥ has narrated: Few of us set on a voyage in the sea. Coincidentally, there wasdarkness for a few days and when the sun shone we were near a township. I went tosearch for water but the doors of the houses were all closed. I called out several times butno one replied. Meanwhile, two men emerged on horses, and directed me, ‘Abdullāĥ!Go on this street and you will find a pond. Take water from there but do not get scaredwith what you see.’ I inquired about the houses with the close doors where winds wereblowing inside. They told me that the souls of the dead resided there.When I reached the pond, I saw a man hanging upside down. He was trying to get waterwith his hand but could not do so. When he saw me he called out, ‘Abdullāĥ! Give mewater to drink.’ I took a can and submerged it in water so I could fill it and give it to him,but somebody grabbed my hand. I said to the man hanging upside down, ‘Bondman ofAllah! You witnessed that I tried to give you water but my hand was held back.
