Backbiting – A Cancer in our Society 718. The worldly wines have a foul odour, a bitter taste, and an intoxicating effect. Whoeverdrinks it, loses his reasoning ability, self-control, and starts using profanity. Thewine in Paradise will be free from such negatives.9. There are no impurities in Paradise. There is no urine, no stool, no earwax, no driednasal mucus nor bodily grime.10. One will have a pleasure-giving fragrant burp as well as he will perspire fragrantly.11. All the food will be digested.12. The burp and sweat will smell like musk.13. Just like breathing, the tongue will be glorifying and praising Allah عَزَّ‏ وَجَلَّ‏ voluntarilyand involuntarily.14. Everyone will have at least ten thousand servants at his service. Each one of themwill have a silver bowl in one hand and a gold bowl in the other. All bowls will befilled with a variety of blessings (cuisines), each novel in colour. As they eat, insteadof the taste diminishing away, it will actually enhance. Every morsel will have seventyflavours each distinct from the other and all these flavours will be tasted withoutone flavour overwhelming the other.15. Neither will their dresses be worn out nor will there youth wither away.16. If someone were to wear a dress from Paradise in this world, whoever saw it wouldfaint. People’s eyes would not be able to bear (its magnificence) and faint.17. If any Ḥūr from Paradise were to spit in the ocean, it would turn sweet. Accordingto one Ḥadīš, if a heavenly maiden were to spit in the seven oceans (of the world)the water would turn sweeter than honey.18. Besides the hair on the head, eyebrows and eyelashes, the dwellers of Paradise willnot have any bodily hair. All will be clean-shaven and their eyes be lined with kohl.Everyone will look thirty years old and will never look older than that.19. Then, the people will go to the market place (by Allah’s orders) which would besurrounded by the angels. They will see things that their eyes have never seen, northeir ears ever heard; nor have their minds ever thought of. There will be no buyingor selling, whatever they like in the market place will just be sent along with them.
