َََََُُِۡۡۡۡExcellence in Forgiving & Tolerance 439Salām us per kay jis nay khūn kay piyāsaun ko qubā-ayn dīnSalām us per kay jis nay gāliyān sun kar Du’ā-ayn dīnSalutations for the one who forgave those, who intended to take his life;Greetings for the one who replied to curses, with gracious prayers for their tribeY َ ُa ٰ َ< ٰ Mََُ ا‎J K َ Lۡ2ِbَ َ اZ‏ۡ‏]^ ۡ ا < َLPrayer of guidance for the oppressorsDuring Ghazwaĥ 1 -e-Uḥud, one of the blessed tooth of the Beloved and Blessed Prophetwas martyred [broken] and his face was also wounded, but the Holy ‏,صَ‏ َّ! االلهPَِ َتَعَالىٰ‏ ‏َلَيْهِ‏ وَاٰلِهٖ‏ وَسَلَّم Prophetُن except: said nothing to them صَ‏ َّ! االلهۡ]َُ‘- 1 ½ۡ ِ ]َr ِY@ا ا (i.e.تَعَالىٰ‏ ‏َلَيْهِ‏ وَاٰلِهٖ‏ وَسَلَّمُ‘O Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ‏ guide my people, for they are unaware of me’). (Ash-Shifā, vol. 1, pp. 105)Soyā kiyay nābkār bandayRoyā kiyay zār zār ĀqāThe wicked kept sleeping;While the Exalted Prophet kept weepingY َ ُa ٰ َ< ٰ Mََُ ا‎J K َ Lۡ2ِbَ َ اZ‏ۡ‏]^ ۡ ا < َLPardoned the magicianLabīd Bin A’ṣam casted a magical spell on the Respected and Revered Prophet, but theMercy for the Universe صَ!َّ‏ االلهُ‏ تَعَالىٰ‏ ‏َلَيْهِ‏ وَاٰلِهٖ‏ وَسَلَّم did not take any revenge from him. Further, he alsopardoned the Jew who had poisoned him. (Al-Mawāĥib-ul-Ladunniyyaĥ lil-Qasṭallānī, vol. 2, pp. 91)Esteem of the Blessed Prophet The mother of the believers, Sayyidatunā ‘Āishaĥ Ṣiddīqaĥ ر‎5َ‎ االلهُ‏ تَعَالىٰ‏ عَنْهَا َ said that the Belovedتَعَالىٰ‏ ‏َلَيْهِ‏ وَاٰلِهٖ‏ وَسَلَّم and Blessed Rasūlُwould neither utter foul language out of habit, nor صَ‏ َّ! االلهwould he do it as a formality. Neither was he amongst the people who holler in the1Ghazwaĥ is an Arabic term which refers to a battle in which the Holy Prophet personally participated.
