This monitoring was performed on six farms. Cobb500 and Ross 308 hybrids were used in this experiment. The qualities of the carcasses wereassessed at slaughterhouse in Jevíčko and occurrence of following damages was recorded:contusions, luxation, fractures, bruising and mechanical damage. All carcasses were classified intoone of the three quality classes on the base of the damage and weight and shape.There was considerable difference between carcasses quality of broilers caught mechanically ormanually.
