Itshows how the <strong>Flood</strong> <strong>Risk</strong> Regulations and <strong>Flood</strong> and Water Management Act, in conjunctionwith the Localism Act’s “duty to cooperate”, introduce a wider requirement for the exchange ofinformation and the preparation of strategies and management plans.The emerging Local <strong>Flood</strong> <strong>Risk</strong> Management Strategy and its evidence base are important in thepreparation of the Level 2 SFRA update, the <strong>South</strong> <strong>Worcestershire</strong> Development Plan and indevelopment management decisions.Likewise, SFRAs contain information that should be referred to in responding to the <strong>Flood</strong> <strong>Risk</strong>Regulations and the formulation of local flood risk management strategies and plans.
