Itshows how the Flood Risk Regulations and Flood and Water Management Act, in conjunctionwith the Localism Act’s “duty to cooperate”, introduce a wider requirement for the exchange ofinformation and the preparation of strategies and management plans.The emerging Local Flood Risk Management Strategy and its evidence base are important in thepreparation of the Level 2 SFRA update, the South Worcestershire Development Plan and indevelopment management decisions.Likewise, SFRAs contain information that should be referred to in responding to the Flood RiskRegulations and the formulation of local flood risk management strategies and plans.
