Installation (Continued)Install the pump, driver, and coupling1. Mount and fasten the pump on the baseplate. Use applicable bolts.2. Mount the driver on the baseplate. Use applicable bolts and hand tighten.3. Install the coupling.Pump-to-driver alignmentPrecautionsSee the installation instructions from the coupling manufacturer.WARNING:• Follow shaft alignment procedures in order to prevent catastrophic failure of drive components orunintended contact of rotating parts. Follow the coupling installation and operation procedures fromthe coupling manufacturer.• Always disconnect and lock out power to the driver before you perform any installation ormaintenance tasks. Failure to disconnect and lock out driver power will result in serious physicalinjury.Alignment checksWhen to perform alignment checksTypes of alignment checksNOTICE: Proper alignment is the responsibility of the installer and the user of the unit. Check thealignment of frame-mounted units before you operate the unit.
