Annual Report <strong>of</strong> the Senate Committees<br />

Brief description <strong>of</strong> the paper, including statement <strong>of</strong> relevance to the <strong>University</strong>’s strategic plans and<br />

priorities where relevant<br />

This is the third annual report <strong>of</strong> the four Senate committees: Curriculum and Student Progression,<br />

Learning & Teaching, Quality Assurance and Researcher Experience. It reports on activity this year<br />

and proposes strategic priorities <strong>for</strong> 2012/13 and beyond.<br />

Action requested<br />

Court is invited to note the major items <strong>of</strong> committee business from 2011/12 and to approve the<br />

strategic issues proposed <strong>for</strong> discussion during the next academic year and beyond.<br />
