(Category I Equipment)<br />
(A)<br />
Bidding Instructions (Category-I MR)<br />
1. Bidder to note that no correspondence shall be entered into or entertained after the<br />
bid submission.<br />
2. Bidder shall furnish quotations only for those items, for which he is approved by <strong>EIL</strong><br />
and which he can supply strictly as per MR specifications.<br />
3. No technical details of any nature shall be included in the offer. If the offer contains<br />
any technical deviations or clarifications or stipulates any technical specifications<br />
(even if in line with the MR requirements), the offer is liable for rejection.<br />
4. The submission of prices by the bidder shall be construed to mean that he has<br />
confirmed compliance with all technical specifications of the corresponding item(s).<br />
(B)<br />
Transportation of vessel shall be governed by commercial conditions.<br />
1) The equipment having length more than 20 m and / or forming ‘Gross vehicle<br />
weight (Weight of equipment and the weight of vehicle clubbed together)<br />
more than 49 MT shall be transported by Hydraulic axles only with<br />
compliance to all statutory norms of authorities concerned.<br />
Fabricator/transporter to check the requirements as per latest guidelines<br />
issued by Ministry of surface Transport before shipping the equipment.<br />
2) Trailer to have GPS Tracking system to monitor the movement of<br />
consignment.<br />
(C) General Instructions<br />
Preparation & Submission of Document Control Index (DCI):<br />
Vendor shall prepare Document Control Index (list of those drawings, which are<br />
to be submitted to <strong>EIL</strong> along with the submission dates for each drawing) within<br />
15 days of placement of FOI. Vendor shall strictly adhere to this drawing<br />
submission schedule. Successful bidder to submit DCI (document control index)<br />
and all the vendor data through vendor <strong>portal</strong> (http://edocx.eil.co.in:7001/v<strong>portal</strong>)<br />
only. The detail guidelines for uploading the documents on vendor <strong>portal</strong> are<br />
available on the site itself.<br />
Vendor to note that unscheduled documents (documents which are not listed in<br />
DCI) shall not be accepted by <strong>EIL</strong>. All vendor drawings/documents shall be<br />
submitted as scheduled document only.<br />
